Somewhere over the rainbow

Loved ones grow who were never met

Who were lost in the preparatory,

To when our births were set

Somewhere they whisper tales unsaid,

Blessings through which the world’s healing hinges,

And while it is simply not your time yet

A child is growing without your knowing

And a grandad stores up snow in sheds

To send you joy when it is snowing

So cast your sights to what's ahead,

Though she resides up there instead

Your mother knows the inches you’ve grown

And your friend no longer drowns in sorrow

His smile contains the joy you’ve known

Every rainbow shows a sign of rain,

Oh remember how you’ve loved the rain

The comfort that it brought in pain
